I've been running for over 35 years and coaching athletes for more than a decade. In that time, I've learned one thing clearly: every runner can improve, and you don't need to be fast or experienced to get started.

Who I Coach
Beginners
If you're new to running, don't worry you're exactly who I love working with. I'll help you start safely, build endurance, and understand pacing, breathing, and form so you actually enjoy running (yes, that's possible). Much of running is learning as you go. One thing at a time. You won't be left behind or intimidated. I'll be right there at your first workout.
Runners Getting Their Fitness Back
Maybe you stepped away because of injury, pregnancy, stress, or life. It happens to all of us. I enjoy helping runners rebuild fitness in a way that feels doable, encouraging, and realistic. We'll go step-by-step, building habits along the way. No pressure. Just progress.
PR-Chasers
If you've got your eye on a faster 5K, 10K, half, or marathon, I'll build a personalized training plan that takes the guesswork out of the process. You'll get smart workouts, purposeful progression, pacing strategy, and race-ready confidence.
Student Athletes
Whether you're in high school, middle school, or youth running, I'll create age-appropriate training that builds a strong foundation while keeping running fun. I've coached student athletes to state championships and college scholarships.
Ultra Marathon
Ready to go beyond the marathon? From 50Ks to 100-milers, I'll help you prepare for the mental and physical demands of ultra distances with training that builds endurance, resilience, and smart race execution.
Multi Sport
Triathlon, cycling, swimming, or any multi-sport event - I've got 35 years of endurance experience across disciplines. I'll help you balance swim, bike, and run training to arrive at race day ready and confident.

I believe in simple, structured, and relationship-driven coaching. Training doesn't need to be complicated to work it needs to be consistent, purposeful, and adapted to your life.
Most importantly, coaching should feel supportive, not stressful.

I'll regularly check your running form (in person or via video) to help you run more efficiently and stay injury-free.

Every Wednesday night or morning, I'm at the track giving pacing cues, form tips, and helping you stay consistent.
